Joining, renewing and cancelling Membership
Am I eligible to join as a member?
The Craft Central Network was set up to support designer makers across a wide range of disciplines and all levels of experience. If you are a practicing designer maker working in craft, design, or the arts you are eligible. If you are still unsure please contact the Craft Central office to let us know what you do and we can confirm if you can join.
How much are Craft Central membership fees?
For memberships renewing or beginning in 2020, Craft Central membership rates for one calendar year are £51. All prices are listed and must be paid in Pound Sterling.
How do I cancel my membership? And will I be refunded?
Membership fees must be paid in advance and in full. To cancel a membership please contact the Craft Central office on firstname.lastname@example.org . Membership fees are non-refundable.
What happens if I do not pay my membership fee?
Non-payment of membership fees constitutes a breach of contract and will result in immediate cancellation of membership.
When will I be able to actively use my Membership benefits?
Members are able to make use of their membership benefits as soon as they receive their Craft Central Membership Welcome Pack, with all the information and discounts we have on offer for our Network members.
What events are there for members?
We will let you know about any new events. You can also visit the Events Calendar page for a full list of upcoming events. Details on how to book will also be given with every event.
Do I need to book tickets for Craft Central events, talks and discussions?
Yes, unless otherwise stated.
Am I still able to use the tickets purchased with my membership if my membership has now expired?
For non-member events, Craft Central members are still able to purchase tickets up until the last day of their membership. However, for exclusive member-only events, you must be a current member on the date of the event.
How do I keep up to date with the latest news on events?
When you sign up for Craft Central membership, you are automatically added to our Network and global mailing lists, where you will receive regular emails with the most up to date information.
If you do not wish to receive emails from us then you can fully opt-out of this service in the members areas of the website under your profile.

What are Craft Central’s membership Terms & Conditions?
Craft Central is the working name for Clerkenwell Green Association. Registered charity number 281415.
By applying to become a Member of the Designer Maker Network you are automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions.
The current membership fee is shown on the website. Membership fees must be paid in advance and in full and are non-refundable. If membership has lapsed there will be no access to membership information until the individual has re-enrolled as a new member. When using facilities such as space hire or taking part in an exhibition on Clerkenwell Green Association premises, the participant in the event or activity must be a paid up member at the time of the event to benefit from member discounts. Membership is not transferable.
If you cease to be a member your entitlement to benefit from member rates for third party member services will also cease.
Non payment of membership fees will result in immediate cancellation of membership.
If a member decides to cancel their membership during the current year no partial refund of the subscription will be made.
that late renewals will be back dated to the former renewal date.
Acceptance of an application for membership
Clerkenwell Green Association has absolute discretion to refuse membership to any person without giving reasons.
Use of the Craft Central name and logo
Use of the Craft Central Name and Logo Policy: The Craft Central logo and word mark are proprietary. Paid members may include the Craft Central logo and/or a link to the Craft Central website on their company website. To obtain Craft Central’s logo or word mark, please contact email@example.com . The Craft Central logo and word mark may not be used by members after membership expiration or cancellation.
Member services and benefits
Our liability to you will not extend to member services supplied by a third party or an external provider. You will be subject to the supplier’s own terms and conditions. We are in no way responsible for and do not accept any liability for loss or damage suffered as a result of a fault, error or omission in the provision of these services.
We reserve the right to change the benefits that apply to membership at any time without prior notice.
An external provider of the benefits included with your membership package has absolute discretion in relation to the provision of services to you. Membership of CGA does not guarantee that the external provider will accept an application form from a Network member for the provision of services.
Use of personal information
CGA often receives enquiries from the press, buyers and collectors. We will only share appropriate personal information about you with bona fide interested parties such as these.
