Landscape Around Us- Kid's Art

Workshop

23/24 August 10am-4pm

Children 8+

The children will begin by drawing an imagined landscape, then will go through some formal drawing exercises on negative space and perspective. They will then spend time out of the studio to draw the landscape around The Forge. They will produce expressive work by bringing together their artistic flare with the formal teaching.

Children will take home a finished canvas based on their drawing, sketches, and the formal teaching exercises.

The children's work is displayed as the class develops, and a professional art gallery aesthetic is added to give the children a high-status view of their own work.

Better work is produced if the two full days are attended, but single days can be booked. The work made will be featured (no images of the children) on Kate’s Instagram for parents and family to view.

Refreshments will be available but children should bring their own lunch

The workshop be run by long-standing Craft Central member, Kate Hodgson, founder of Hackney School of Art Facebook

BOOK NOW £32.50 Per day
