Back by popular demand, Zoe Bateman has already run two very successful drop in events for children at The Forge. These new taster sessions teach the basics of weaving and macramé. This is an excellent way for your child to try out two different ways of working with textiles. Classes are for children 8 and above.
Children learn how to make an awesome plant hanger from coloured cotton cord, tying a selection of basic macrame knots. They will take home with a fun macrame hanger and metal pot that can either be used to put a plant in or to hold pens, jewellery, or anything else they like! All the materials and equipment are provided, and Zoe will go over lots of tips and tricks to get each child tying knots like an expert in no time! This workshop is suitable for total beginners.
£10 per session - Refreshments available.
