Craft Central @ London Design Fair

Craft Central is pleased to announce that we will be taking a stand at the London Design Fair 20-23rd September. Located in the creative heart of East London, the London Design Fair is a four-day industry event that brings together 550 exhibitors from 36 countries, including; independent designers, established brands, international country pavilions, features and exhibitions.

Craft Central’s stand will be located in Hall 7, number 7.26-7.29 where we will be showcasing 6 of our members:

CWC Ceramics, Ceramics

CWC Ceramics finds inspiration from geometric patterns and optical illusion. Her collection includes geometric shaped freestanding pots and hanging planters. Camilla also does installations which are available for private and commercial commissions

 Form and Trace, Interior Textiles

Form and Trace is a new independent design brand, specialising in accessories for the home. They create printed textiles and tableware with bold graphic patterns. Their debut collection fuses abstract patternmaking techniques with a colour palette of vegetable tones.

Sustainably sourced natural materials and environmentally conscious printing techniques are core to their ethos.

Helaina Sharpley, Metalwork artwork

Helaina is inspired by tradition, elegance of Edwardian Architecture and afternoon tea.

She turns her linear Illustrations into wire art works, seemingly drawing in wirer to make a 3D pictures to be admired from every angle.

Jane Sedgwick, Jewellery

Jane creates playful colourful jewellery using traditional woodworking techniques. She manages a small woodland in Norfolk which provides a sustainable supply of sycamore for her work.

Working with geometric forms, repetition and colour, her inspiration comes from a variety of sources especially classic educational toys and nautical imagery.

Pamela Print, woven textiles

Pamela is a woven textile designer and hand-weaver who creates luxury sustainable textiles for the contemporary home. Her interior accessories are inspired by the Art Deco movement and feature textural geometric patterns woven using British-sourced wool with a slow textile ethos at heart.

Sarah Fennell, Interior Textiles

Sarah Fennell is a textile and surface pattern designer with an affinity for unique compositions of colour and shape. With a distinctive cut-paper aesthetic, she uses paper collage to form the basis of her ideas
