The Design Trust offers an array of online resources and training to help support creative businesses who want to set up in, grow and survive these difficult times! They have a FREE session available to our members at 2pm on Thursday 2nd April, given by PR Dispatch around the subject of ‘Is PR still Relevant?’
In this 30-minute workshop with Rosie Davies-Smith from PR Dispatch, Rosie will cover how to reach out to the press during this time as well as answer a whole host of your PR questions including:
- Is the press still working?
- What are they working on?
- How to pitch sensitively and build relationships?
- Is your product relevant at this time?
- Pitching to long-lead at this time
- What to do if you gain coverage at this time?
- How to sell at this time?
Also they are responding to the demand of the creative community with launching a brand new online course ‘Teach Your Creative Skills Online’ starting this Wednesday 1 April and taking place on 8 and 15 April. (https://www.tdtonlinebusinessschool.co.uk/courses/44/about)
This is a 3 x 3 hour online course aimed at creatives who are serious about teaching online. Perhaps you are already teaching workshops, but we want to ‘educate’ your audience e.g. to up sell craft kits for example or to show them how to use their journal or loom (if you sell equipment) and also to share your creative process and improve your profile too.
