We are pleased to announce the return of our popular designer-maker selling event, The Winter Market at The Forge along with our first ever Open Studios at our Isle of Dogs location. We’re looking for craftspeople from across our Network and beyond to come and take part in this festive selling event. The Winter Market will take place on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 November and will be a great way to kick off your Christmas selling season. Applications are now open!

Location:

The Forge, Westferry Road, is a Grade II listed-building on the Isle of Dogs in East London.

Winter Market Set-up hours:

Friday 19th November set-up 9.30 am-3pm

Saturday 20th November set-up 9am-11am

Winter Market Opening hours:

Saturday 20th November 11-6pm

Sunday 21th November 11-5pm

Space:

We will be offering exhibition spaces on the ground floor in the exhibition gallery and the workbenches which line one edges of the open plan area of The Forge. We will be able to supply most display furniture for exhibitors meaning set-up is easy and hassle-free.

Pricing:

We are keeping the price as affordable as possible for our members: £96 (inc VAT).

None member's rates is £120 (inc VAT)

Good to know:

The Forge is based close to the river and within easy access of Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Surrey Quays. It is a five-minute-walk from Mudchute station on the DLR and is also outside the congestion zone. We have 10 parking spaces for the building and on surrounding roads parking is free from 5.30pm and weekends. All of this will make set-up and pack down easier for you and will allow visitors to drive stress free to the show.

Marketing:

Craft Central will be promoting the Winter Market through our database (22,000+), social media (37,000+) and through the media. We will invite some of our exhibiting Network members to have their work on our creative and social media campaigns to promote the event. These images could be used for flyers, posters, print advertising, social media advertising, alongside press coverage for the event. If you don't supply good images we won't be able to include you in any of the visual campaigns, please ensure that you do.

We need:

• Good, clear product shots on neutral backgrounds and with full caption information and prices*

• High-res / print ready: 300dpi Jpeg

• Images to be included in your application, extra images can be sent via dropbox, wetransfer and email

* By supplying images you allow us to use them for marketing purposes as we feel appropriate..
