Application is now open for our popular Open Studios & Winter Market. We’re looking for craftspeople from across our Network and beyond to come and take part in this affordable festive selling event. We had over 1000 visitors last year and we hope to build on its success. The Winter Market will take place on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 November and will be a great way to kick off your Christmas selling season. Applications are now open!

Location:

The Forge, 397 Westferry Road, London E14 3AE

Winter Market Set-up hours:

Friday 19th November set-up 9.30 am-3 pm

Saturday 20th November set-up 9 am-11am

Winter Market opening hours:

Saturday 19th November 11-5pm

Sunday 20th November 11-5pm

Space:

We will be offering exhibition spaces on the ground floor in the exhibition gallery and the workbenches which line one edge of the open plan area of The Forge. We will be able to supply most display furniture for exhibitors meaning set-up is easy and hassle-free.

 

Pricing:

We are keeping the price as affordable as possible for our members: £110 (inc VAT).

Non- member's rate is £140 (inc VAT)

Good to know:

The Forge is based close to the river and within easy access to Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Surrey Quays. It is a five-minute walk from Mudchute station on the DLR and is also outside the congestion zone. We have 10 parking spaces for the building and on surrounding roads parking is free from 5.30 pm and at weekends. All of this will make set-up and pack down easier for you and will allow visitors to drive stress free to the show.

Marketing:

Craft Central will promote the Winter Market through our database (22,000+), social media (37,000+), our partners, the media and a local advertising campaign. We will invite some of our exhibiting Network members to have their work on our creative and social media campaigns to promote the event. These images could be used for flyers, posters, print advertising, and social media advertising, alongside press coverage for the event. If you don't supply good images we won't be able to include you in any of the visual campaigns, please ensure that you do.

We need:

Good, clear product shots on neutral backgrounds and with full caption information and prices*

High-res / print ready: 300dpi Jpeg

Images to be included in your application, extra images can be sent via dropbox, wetransfer and email

 * By supplying images you allow us to use them for marketing purposes as we feel appropriate..
