Podcasts are everywhere nowadays – even more at present! A podcast is like listening to a radio show, where it’s just you and the people on the podcast in the room. The great thing about them is that you can listen to them whenever you want and you don’t need to watch anything.

To help you navigate through them, we have attempted, humbly, to compile for you a small list of podcasts worth a try. At least, we have tried them for you  – Enjoy the read and stay safe.

Making It Podcast - This podcast is hosted by a trio of makers, all with different backgrounds. Their focus is creativity, design and making things with your bare hands.

Being Boss - Kathleen Shannon & Emily Thompson are the hosts of this podcasts for creative entrepreneurs. Their aim is to help you be "the boss in work and life".

Elise Gets Crafty – This a weekly podcast. The host is a California based maker whose podcast focuses on the real, everyday issues of running a small creative business. And we know how hard it can be… Full of inspirational ideas presented in a down to earth manner.

Adventures in Design - A daily podcast, featuring interviews with designers, crafters and full-time creatives. Discusses everything from time management, workflow process, and how to be a successful small business owner.

Reclaimed Audio - It explores the world of working with existing materials, recycling, upcycling, and making something new of things you already have, or can find cheaply or for free.

Blogtacular: Creativity, The Internet & Everything – It is a weekly podcast which explores the creative lives of people making a living online.  From photographers, makers and designers to bloggers, vloggers and everyone in between.  

Adventures in Design - It is a daily morning show. It features mostly interviews with designers, artists, and full-time creatives, and discusses everything from process to time management and what it's like to be a small business owner, working from your kitchen table.

StartUp – This podcast looks at what it is really like to start and launch a startup. The podcast features professionals within the business world. This popular business podcast is hosted by Alex Blumberg and Lisa Chow.

Marketing Over Coffee - It is an informative podcast which is recorded each week from a coffee shop by hosts Christopher Penn and John Wall. The podcast is designed to help small businesses with marketing, providing them with tips on the likes of social media, copywriting, SEO, affiliate marketing and more.

Hashtag Authentic - Sara Tasker of 'Me & Orla' is the host of this weekly podcast that explores the secrets to online success "for dreamers, makers and creatives". Features lots of practical tips and inspiring stories.

The Merriweather Council Podcast - Celebrating the "reality of gainful self employment through craft", this podcast focussed on helping art and design and contains a lot of practical insight and tips.
