Our broad portfolio of work includes restaurant graphics, packaging, corporate identity and exhibition design.
Quietly challenging convention – projects include a website without navigation buttons, a book with an invisible spine, and stationery that has nothing printed on it – our work is often described as effortless, but this perhaps undermines its considered typographic rigour, and sensitive use of materials.
Our Robert Ryman catalogue, for Xavier Hufkens gallery in Brussels, was described as ‘The Humphrey Bogart of books, one of the 25 best pieces of work of 2006’, by Grafik magazine. In the Howard Smith Awards it was described as ‘a clear winner. A beautifully executed piece of work’.
Our design for Giorgio Locatelli’s cookbook ‘Made In Italy’ was acclaimed as ‘Nothing short of a masterpiece’ by Nigel Slater in The Observer, as ‘Quite simply the perfect book’ by Gordon Ramsay in The Times, and won Best Food Book at the 2007 Glenfiddich Awards.
