Teiko is originally from Japan and has been living in the UK since 1992. She trained in jewellery and silversmithing, including enamelling at London Guildhall University (now Metropolitan University).
She makes contemporary jewellery combining silver with fasteners such as zips and buttons, and vintage fabrics. Her other collections are less elaborate, using silver and semi-precious stones, but her love of colour leads her to make these collections fun and exciting.
She sells her jewellery throughout the U.K. at craft fairs and outlets like craft galleries, jewellery retailers and museum shops such as in the Tate Modern.
