Myra graduated in Print Textile Design at Middlesex University in 2004. She bases her garments around prints that combine thought out beauty with a rough and ready edge. A reoccurring presence is Sulky Susie the moody schoolgirl, a cartoon with large eyes and a chip on her shoulder who has proved very popular. Coming out of the small boutiques and eclectic underground scenes of Brighton and London, Myra is inspired by salt eroded paint work, beautiful flowers and kids’ cartoons to create quirky fun loving images.
