Craft + forgotten skills + recycled fabrics + considerate to the environment + ethical working conditions + sustainable business and designs + childhood innocence = sunny wellington
“More than ever before, a love of nostalgia and all things childlike has begun to dominate our culture. Now there’s a name for its devotee’s: KIDULTS. Francesca Martin, Elle Magazine, 2003
Rachel Jillions creates sunny wellington, a collection of one off garments, with clever tailoring, draping and pretty little details all made from ethically sourced fabrics. Even the buttons are recovered from old garments and people’s button boxes.
Sunny offers a small range of clothing from carefully selected recovered textiles, found in different places, lovingly washed, mended, patched and reworked into innovative designs. Sunny wellington believes that clothes are like friends; they have a history & highlight your personality.  Sunny makes clothes for women of all ages who wish to be individual, special and are also considerate of the environment.
Rachel regularly has a stall in UpMarket, Truman Brewery, Brick Lane at the weekend, contact her on info@sunnyw.co.uk for more details
