Laura Bradshaw-Heap is the designer behind stitch & silver. She designs and creates contemporary jewellery and larger one-off pieces of wearable art, which incorporate recycled and reused fabrics, beads, buttons and silver.
Vaudeville style theatre and a magpie obsession for fabrics, glitter and colour all inspire her work. She is interested in the idea of creating pieces which contain something of the owner in them. One-off pieces and wedding pieces can be designed, using favourite and meaningful fabrics and trinkets in the pieces, to create a truly individual jewellery.
Stitch & silver's work can be found in shops and galleries around the country. Please see the website for a full list. Please note, the contents in the encased range are fixed with resin, so they don't move.
