Craft Central is keen to help creative businesses that want to expand by taking on new members of staff, work placement students or volunteers.
Through feedback Craft Central has noticed that although many designers wish to grow their businesses many aren’t aware of how to take on extra staff or how they can help to develop your business. Likewise there are interested and dedicated people out there who are interested in taking on a support role within a creative business.
Accessing the Skills Brokerage Scheme
- Designers – if you are a designer-maker who needs help with your business then email info@craftcentral.org.uk putting "Skills Brokerage - designer" in the subject line of your email. Craft Central will then be in touch to assess your needs and help you to find a suitable solution.
- Interested individuals – if you are looking for a career in the creative sector whether it be part time, full time, voluntary or just for some experience then email info@craftcentral.org.uk putting "Skills Brokerage – individual" in the subject line of your email. Craft Central will then be in touch to assess your needs and help you to find a suitable designer to work with.
