Special pieces have been created around concepts of Music and Movement and Reflections and Illusions. A series of design-led double rings emphasises comfort and simplicity. Rings to Remember and Rings to Engage led to Edible/Sociable rings, which are part of a continuing curiosity to explore ways of interacting with jewellery.
Using innovative mechanisms or fittings or shapes, with changeable units, occasionally with internal musical elements, this bold work often involves options for the wearer/observer, sometimes through its multiple-functions. Pendants become rings. Necklaces can be work in several different ways. Rethinking rings as non-circular, double or chiming, they appear to float on the hand, have colour changes, or double terminals.
The Deviations and Strato ranges of jewellery present new concepts in multiple-combination rings and cutting-edge design, with work literally angling into new directions.
Off the Body necklaces involve kinetic concepts and new materials. Necklaces are anchored on the body with the focal points 'off the body'.
