Sara Sulemanji specialises in the production of hand printed textiles. Working from her studio in Clerkenwell she produces unusual and understated scarves and wraps for the design conscious modern woman.
Beginning with drawings and paintings inspired by nature, each scarf is carefully hand crafted, through dying, printing, drawing and surface embellishment to create pieces that are unique. Colour is an important and vital part of Sara Sulemanji’s designs, as each piece is hand dyed there is a greater and more unusual choice of colour.
Wall pieces and sculptural hangings are inspired by shells, pebbles and gemstones. They are produced through a combination of printing and painting on paper, canvas and silk, experimenting with texture, colour and shape to create contemporary, striking pieces for the home.
