"I am constantly returning to the simple geometric forms that were so much part of my parents' art, arranging and re-arranging to find new and sometimes unexpected juxtapositions. The Golden Proportion, mathematical series, movement and highly polished surfaces are vital to the pieces I make, in bringing about a strong decorative style, with echoes of Art Deco and architecture. My intention is to make jewellery that is crisp and precise, the appearance of something that is machine made and yet has other qualities that can only be achieved with painstaking work by hand."
