Ruth Singer is a textile designer producing fashion and interior accessories and garments. Her work is made by hand using traditional textile techniques such as pleating, quilting and appliqué. She trained as a museum curator with a special interest in textile and fashion history and this continues to have a major impact on how and what she designs.
She works to commission to create one-off garments and interior textile pieces and sells a range of ready-made bags, scarves and cushions. Ruth teaches textile and fashion history and a range of practical courses. Her work is available direct via her website and from selected galleries and shows.
