Rosie Weisencrantz is the alter ego of award winning textile designer Caroline Rose Dent. Rosie first appeared in 2004 in a dream as a response to Caroline’s love of all things vintage, and became the catalyst for her first collection of woven and re-cycled vintage jewellery.
Rosie Weisencrantz Jewellery combines a lifelong love of weaving, and a commitment to recycling, with a passion for antiquities in the form of beautiful old beads and brooches. Caroline’s 20 year background in weaving is evident in her use of fine old linen thread to weave together the antique beads and trinkets.  No two necklaces are ever the same, each one a precious and unique string of memories, and it is the poetic and magical nature of each necklace that seems to fascinate and lure potential owners towards them. Once worn, they become fiercely treasured and much talked about possessions, never to be parted with.
Each necklace comes beautifully presented in it’s own sumptuous fur-lined box, making it a very special gift, for a friend or lover. Rosie Weisencrantz also offers a bespoke service, whereby a necklace is lovingly created around some special momento belonging to the client, such as grandma’s old diamante brooch.
The philosophy behind Rosie Wesiencrantz is to create jewellery that is unique and beautiful, that which is “worth more than money�, personal heirlooms that will be treasured for ever, and be handed down to the next generation… … to eventually be recycled all over again… ……bringing the past to the future…again ……and again…..and thus creating new memories along the way
