Phil Reynolds makes bespoke costumes for film, opera, ballet, television, and musical theatre. In nearly twenty years he has worked on some of the most exciting and challenging costume projects.
Working with a team of highly efficient, professional, and innovative makers from his central London studio, Phil Reynolds often collaborates with experts in other fields, much of whose work can be seen on this website.
Reynolds' formal training took place under Gordon Hutchings at the Royal Opera House, and he subsequently established his own business in 1985. This unconventional beginning has contributed to his innovative methods and fuelled his talent for design interpretation of the highest quality. The more unusual and challenging projects allow him to employ his creativity to the full.
