Olivia Schlevogt's work is characterised by strong, clear and simple shapes, softened by matt texture and surface detail. The geometric forms are made in gold or silver with a matt finish and 22ct yellow gold, or 18ct white gold, ornamentation. These metal elements are sometimes combined with precious and semi-precious stones to create her pieces of characteristic design and high quality craftsmanship.
Trained as a silversmith and jeweller in Germany and the UK, she has won several prizes for craftsmanship and design from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths’. Now well established in London with a workshop in Clerkenwell, she also works to commission.
