Since graduating with Distinction from the Royal College of Art, London, I have recently established the old bean design label.
As a designer maker I create and produce original hand printed greetings cards from wood engravings on polished end grain English boxwood. Six collections have been established with four iconic images in each. The collection themes are rural and figurative, taking inspiration from the creatures and native species of the British landscape and hedgerow.

Traditional materials and techniques such as Japanese papers, linseed oil based ink and burnishing are used to perpetuate the honest skill and beauty inherent in the craft of hand printing in this digital age.
