Mayza is a Brazilian architect and designer recently established in London.
Jewellery making has been a parallel activity since the beginning of her career as an architect which enables her to create, on a small scale, forms and objects that emerge from her architectural practice. Therefore Mayza’s jewellery work is influenced by Architectural forms, in the making of small objects, exploring the plasticity of silver and gold. Engineering plays its part in her work to achieve simplicity of form in her pursuit for bold and inventive shapes.
