Lunar Accessories strives to offer a choice of beautiful, unique and individually handcrafted, one off handbags. The intent is the wearer will illuminate their own individual style with the Lunar bag they acquire. Consideration is taken of social and environmental issues in the bag’s production.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
Mixing recycled material with new materials, velvet, suede’s, leather and metals. There are no manufacturing processes involved in the production of a Lunar Accessories handbag. All bags are hand stitched, with minimum use of sewing machines. A lot of time and thought is dedicated to the design and production of each bag. Purchasing at Lunar Accessories you will know exactly how and where the materials originate from.
DESIGN OF A LUNAR ACCESSORIES BAG
Inspiration comes from the colours, shapes and textures of the materials used. The process of a Lunar Accessories bag begins with sourcing vintage items from specialist shops, charity shops, markets and craft shops. The design evolves from the look and feel of the materials which are then combined together using hand sewing incorporating bead work and experimental techniques to re-invent items into a new cycle of life.
