Craft Central

Lorna creates hand-made sustainable textiles for commercial and residential interiors as well as show homes. Her sculptural wall flowers and wall hearts are her signature pieces made from 100% British wool or duchess satins. They create a statement on their own or in a group and can be made to order to make sure they fit into your designated space and colour schemes.

Lorna offers a full bespoke service including home visits, drawings, 3D sketch ups, colour matching and manufacturing the pieces and an after care period. The flowers are great for adding a splash of colour as well as dampening noise.

Lorna’s award winning eco friendly cushion collection ‘British Hedgerow’ is made from a combination of wool and stinging nettles, which are grown in Leicestershire. These cushions reflect the colours and shapes found in the Springtime hedgerows in the UK. Designs can also be adapted to fit the use and colour schemes in your chosen interior.

Lorna also creates smaller framed items such as the eco-friendly framed heart and the duchess satin framed flowers.

Lorna graduated from Loughborough University with a first class (hons) degree in multi-media textiles and in 2009 set up Lorna Syson Textiles with help from the Princes Trust. Since then she has shown at tradeshows and exhibitions across the world including London, New York, Tokyo and Paris.

In 2010 Lorna moved to her South London studio where all of the items are created.
