Lollipop started it's life in 2003, set up by graphic designer Rachel Le Mesurier. Working mainly in print with a background in packaging design, Rachel's passion for pattern & colour has led to the creation of her unique folding cards combined with striking retro graphics and beautiful illustrations.
Initially lollipop specialised in personalised stationery and in 2007 won the prestigious Wrapit award for Best Wedding Stationery (in association with Condé Nast and Wedgwood). We are also proud to be the recommended social stationers for the boutique hotels; Babington House and The Bingham. Lollipop's social stationery is regularly featured in the Bridal and lifestyle press.
This year we launched a brand new range of 'everyday' social stationery sets, Christmas cards, printed bags & canvases. Particularly popular are our innovative ‘stamper’ cards, printed onto luxury recycled card, presented in a reuseable gift box and supplied with hand-crafted wooden stamp and inkpad.
Quality, design and environmental impact is at the heart of every lollipop product. Rachel has thought carefully about the production process & packaging. Our printers are UK based, wherever possible paper is either recycled or FSC approved Our single cards are protected in 100% biodegradable bags and the robust plastic wallets can continue their life indefinitely as handy wallets for keeping safe stamps, bus tickets, swimming tokens etc!
Rachel also runs lollipop freelance, a small graphic design and branding consultancy. Clients include the tea boutique Leaf, The Bingham Hotel, Seastar Gallery in Moushole and many others...
