Laura began designing her own collections in 2000. She is inspired by clean sharp shapes. Motifs and symbols from any trend and culture. Her design process is to re-constructs and re-works patterns and shapes from where she takes her inspiration. These patterns evolve into contemporary new designs.
Laura Pearce's collection 'Deco Sun' was inspired by the 1940's sun motif which translates into beautiful sculpted pieces evolving shapes from the deco period. Using pierced silver sheet and semi-precious stones. Colours are rose quartz, aventurine, mother of pearl and Jet.
