Anna Latham & Helen Neve studied jewellery together over ten years ago at Kent Institute of Art and Design, after which Latham spent time travelling and working in the Philippines and India designing, making and teaching jewellery.

Meanwhile Neve worked for the society jewellery Elizabeth Gage and then spent time in contemporary furniture where she gained invaluable business experience, eventually working her way up to director level. In 1997 the design duo decided that the time was right to join forces in creating quality jewellery designed and made in Britain.

“Our jewellery is bold and sculptural, drawing inspiration from shapes, forms and textures found in the natural world which are reworked in contemporary forms. We believe that this approach together with an adherence to high standards of craftsmanship produces quality British jewellery with a unique appeal. We focus on small production runs using hand-made wax models which are then cast predominantly in silver and finished by hand. Working in this manner enables us to achieve form and texture that is not always possible in flat sheet metal."

Recently we have begun to work with beaten silver and gold wire creating dramatic pieces that are entirely hand-made. We also work to commission in either silver or 18ct gold.

Latham & Neve’s work is for sale direct by mail order and through selected galleries and shops. To view our collections or find a stockist, please visit www.lathamandneve.co.uk

Coco Grande - a cocktail ring for the connoisseur!

You might not think Latham & Neve's characteristic restraint and elegance would lend itself to designing a cocktail ring, but look at our witty Coco Grande and think again. Visit our website. It's big subtly textured dish cleverly plays with what we expect to see - concave where it should be convex and where a stone should be there's just a space. A cocktail ring for the connoisseur, made to be worn.
