Man-hole covers-that’s where it all began.
Underground from South Kensington tube station to the Victoria & Albert Museum I passed countless man-hole covers of all shapes and sizes polished and deepened in hue by the soles of a myriad of visitors. A beautiful sight. In my current collection I use the ancient technique of patination and chain mail structures to evoke the same emotion of warmth and a reverence for all that is enduring, timeless. By wearing and handling this jewellery the owner will again bring them to life by passing on their own unique shine and warmth. An ever changing journey of perfection.
