Katherine Elizabeth is a London based award-winning designer, whose achievements include the LFF Profile 6 Award, a finalist of the Dzina 2007 Fashion Awards, and an ongoing finalist in the Walpole Awards.
All her hats are hand-crafted to ensure the highest standard, using sumptuous fabrics adorned by Swarovski crystals, delicate beading or the lightest of feathers.
Based in London, she works with top designers including Stephen Jones Couture, Catherine Delaney, and Victoria Anne Millinery. Through these designers Katherine has had the opportunity to create for Galliano, Dior, Harpers & Queen, theatre productions and fashion magazines. She is currently designing millinery for Dita Von Teese, fashion Label 'ASUDARI ', author Kit Berry and is stylist for the band The Soho Dolls.
Katherine's hats have been featured in:- Harper’s & Queen, Draper's Records, ES Magazine, Wedding Ideas Magazine, Kent & Sussex Wedding magazine, Hat Magazine, Add Lee, LFF magazine, Fashion Enter, Richmond Times, Somerset County Gazette, Dream Weddings and Limited Addition. She was also in the Financial Times, ' How To Spend It Magazine' Feb/March 2007. She has a contract with Hobbs, and produces hats for their three flagship stores, including the King's Road.
Other shops that stock Katherine’s hats include Fiorisimo Couture, Fairy Gothmother, I Do Weddings Couture, Devised, Season Gloucester Road, and Fashion Enter, and Louise Selby.
Katherine teaches millinery at the Somerset College of Art and Design, Gateway College in Leicester, and in the past she has run courses at the Fulham branch of the WI and Farnham Art Gallery.
