Katherine Bree is an established London based designer and has been making jewellery since January 2000. Her stockists include Liberty, the Victoria and Albert Museum shop, and the shop at Tate Britain.
Katherine originally studied for a BSc(Hons) in textile design, and worked for several years as a knitwear designer working for various companies within the fashion industry.
As a jewellery designer Katherine is self-taught, and colour is her main inspiration when designing a collection. She still works in a fashion-orientated way by producing two collections a year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.
Preferring to work with natural semi-precious stones and sterling silver, Katherine often combines unusual gems with those more commonly recognised. She is constantly researching new designs through art galleries, museums, cinema and contemporary culture.
Everything is made by hand in her North London Studio. Her collections are available in major London stores, across the UK and in Europe. Please see her website for full stockist details.
