Kate Hodgson designs and produces abstract precious metal jewellery. The work is designed with an awareness of positive and negative spaces created through construction. The process behind her work involves sketch books, design drawings and making the finished master for casting. One off pieces are part of this process and Kate enjoys mixing different metals and techniques to interpret her drawings, when creating a new collection or piece.
