My practice is based on making bespoke furniture to commission. I work with architects and Interior designers as well as designing directly for private clients.
Continuing to learn about my craft is important to me, theoretical and practical research stimulates and inspires all areas of my practice. It is though a broadening of my understanding of my craft that I’m able to challenge myself as a maker and ultimately this gives me more to offer as a designer.
As a cabinetmaker my aim is to pursue the highest standards in my work and to utilise my materials to their full potential. It is with this attitude that I approach my commissioned work and the benefits of this to my clients is that the resulting objects I produce will show integrity, ambition and a high level of craftsmanship.

2007 Scholarship
This summer I was awarded a scholarship from the Anderson Ranch Arts Centre: to learn more about Cork as a material, with a view to use in my furniture. Anderson Ranch is located in Snowmass Village, Colorado and was established In 1966, by a group of artists from Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley who cleared out the historic barns for studios, set up a gallery and inaugurated an informal workshop programme.
