Trinidad-born, Janice graduated from London Guildhall University in 1996. The following year she received a Clerkenwell Award, which allowed her to set up her studio and workshop near Hatton Garden, London's jewellery quarter.
Her jewellery is influenced by architecture and graphic imagery, sometimes starkly geometric and at other times organic, thus through her work runs a strong sense of line, geometry and movement. Every piece is designed and handmade at her studio. Work is made in different carats and colours of gold and sterling and oxidised silver with hints of precious stones. Janice's wish is that every piece bought becomes personally precious to its wearer.
In 2005 Janice moved back to Trinidad where she continues to design and make jewellery. Her work is available at her studio by appointment as well as in the following selected shops and galleries:
- Diana Porter Contemporary Jewellery - Bristol, UK
- Julie: Artisans' Gallery - Madison Ave, New York, USA
