Jane Macintosh’s jewellery is highly individual. Her principal materials are silver and 18ct yellow and white gold which she often combines apparently seamlessly, but also uses on their own and with precious and semi-precious stones. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement and by the urban landscape, her designs are simple, bold and beautifully crafted.
She works in Clapham, London SW4, where she set up a workshop in 1982. Her work can be seen there by appointment and commissions are also welcomed.
Galleries showing her work include:
Lesley Craze Gallery, London EC1; Studio Fusion, London SE1; Roger Billcliffe Gallery, Glasgow; Ruthin Craft Centre, Denbighshire
