Craft Central runs a practical and insightful business training programme for designer makers that really make a difference. Training is run by consultants who know the business of craft and design inside out and pass on their knowledge in a variety of ways – one to one surgeries, small group workshops and mentoring.
Whether thinking about setting up, new into business or more established, makers’ at all stages of their development need to give constant attention to their business in order to stay robust and profitable. Craft Central is continually developing new and relevant programmes to help makers increase chances of long-term success and personal fulfilment whatever stage they are at in their careers.

This streamlined process will make our service more efficient, with training places immediately guaranteed and automated receipts and reminders. Instructions...
First things first! In order to access Network prices you must transfer your membership online (if you're yet to do so!) Please complete this as a separate transaction before booking any training.
Joining Instructions:
For 2010/11 renewal, all network memberships will be transferred online. This is quick, easy and secure - please follow the instructions below:
• Please visit the ‘Join’ section of the CC online Booking Site http://craftcentralbookings.org.uk/join
• If you haven't already registered on the site you will be asked to do so. Once registered you'll be sent an email, which has a link in that you'll need to click to confirm your registration.
• Once registered on the site, click on 'Join' again to proceed to the Join screen (which is just an online version of our paper Joining form).
• Fill in the details (these will be remembered for next time when you renew your membership.
• At the bottom, select either a 1 year or 3 year membership.
• Then click on 'Join / Add to basket', then click on 'Checkout'
• Complete your billing address details, then click 'Continue' and ‘Submit Order'.
• You will then be redirected to the Paypal site to pay.
• On completion of payment, you’ll be redirected back to the CC booking site.
• To ensure you have successfully renewed your membership, you can click on the 'My Account' link at the top of the screen and you will see you are registered as a Network member. It will also show you how many days you have until your network membership expires.
Booking events / training:
• Click on the link to get to the booking site.
• Browse events and training using the 'Events' and 'Business Training' links.
• When booking something for the first time you will be asked to register (once registered, the next time you want to book anything you'll just need to log in).
Payment:
• All online payments are process securing using Paypal
• Once you have confirmed your order, you will be directed to a secure Paypal website to pay.
• Note: You don't require a Paypal account to pay (you can use a credit or debit card), but if you do have a Paypal account, this can be used.
PLEASE NOTE:
• All training sessions must be paid for at the time of booking (via the online booking system).
• All training sessions will now be booked online – cash/cheque payments and paper forms will no longer be accepted.
• In Business training works on a first come first served basis – book early to avoid disappointment.
• Having booked a place, if you are unable to attend please give as much notice as possible by phone – emails are less reliable at short notice.
• Once booked, Craft Central does not refund for any training cancelled or unattended by designer makers.
• All Courses and Seminars are held at 33-35 St John’s Square EC1M 4DS, unless otherwise stated.
