Hidemi was born in Japan, she combines European jewellery technique with the aesthetic of the Japanese tradition of minimalism.
In her collections, Hidemi creates sculptural forms using both precious and non precious materials with her own recipe of powdered stone and resin. She makes natural pebbles that are held secure with silver or gold.
In 'BRANCH' the metal is formed to echo the growth patterns and strength that is present in nature. 'SARA SARA' is a Japanese expression to describe water flowing in a river or how the tip of the calligraphy brush moves. The philosophy behind this, which is also Hidemi's theme, is tranquil movement and the serene moment.
Hidemi hopes, her designs give calmness and relaxation to the wearer.
