Francisca Prieto creates innovative and exclusive interior products and accessories produced in small editions or to commission.
Francisca Prieto’s background in graphic design is evident in her products. She brings graphic elements to life in 3 dimensions fusing craft and design and using traditional techniques applied to modern materials. She reinterprets traditional objects, challenging convention to create novel and inspiring pieces.
Francisca sells in the U.K and internationally and has been interviewed and featured around the world in various magazines including Blueprint, Icon, Idfx (U.K) MIX future Interiors (E.U), VyD (Chile), kAk (Russia), Dpi (Taiwan). She has also been featured in the books, Touch This and The Anatomy of Design (U.S.A). Clients include London's Victoria & Albert Museum, the Tate Gallery and the British Library.
Francisca launched her company ‘Francisca Prieto’ in Milan, at Salone Satellite (Salone del Mobile) in 2006. She is a Chilean born designer based in London and has a MA from Central Saint Martins, London, UK.
