Dorit’s jewellery is largely inspired by natural forms which are translated to meticulously formed shapes with clean and well defined lines and image. In particular, the designs pursue a deterministic and uncompromising approach in combining abstracted natural form with minimalist texture and form composition. The baseline materials of the work range through precious metals such as silver and gold to more experimentalist combinations involving glass and porcelain.
Alongside her more experimental work Dorit is currently working on new ranges involving stones, such as rutilated quartz, aquamarine and garnet.
