Davina Hawthorne is a fashion & textile designer producing cutting edge clothes for women. Her work combines textiles and fashion and seeks to push the boundaries of these two disciplines through finishing, texture, function and silhouette. A combination of recycled, industrial and handcrafted techniques is used in her work.
In July 2002 Davina graduated from Central St Martins with an MA in Design for Textile Futures. In November 2002 Davina was given the Clerkenwell Green Award & set up her own studio in EC1. Since then Davina has sold her work through private commissions, retailers and exhibitions.
Davina takes part in the Made in Clerkenwell open studios twice a year at Craft Central & her work can be viewed and purchased from her studio by appointment.
