'The company produces high-end fashion jewellery and was set up in 2002 by Nicky Press. All the jewellery is made in house and designed by Nicky who has spent time working at world renounced fashion jewellers, Erickson Beamon. Although largely self taught, she honed her craft skills over several years with diplomas in precious jewellery at Sir John Cass (now part of London Metropolitan University).
The appeal of 'Darling it's Perfect!' designs are in their fun, yet dressy look. The often bold but extremely feminine jewellery is made using a mixture of high quality materials, including vintage and semi-precious beads plus large handfuls of Swarovski crystal.
Being an avid collector of old and unusual pieces of jewellery has informed many of Nicky designs. The glamour of the 1950s Hollywood, Victorian design and Indian Mogul jewellery have all inspired recent collections which sell both in the UK and abroad through private commission, independent boutiques and department stores.
'Darling it's Perfect!' has received international media exposure in fashion and wedding magazines including Marie Claire, Pride, Henne, You & Your Wedding and Time Out. Nicky has been interviewed about her jewellery on BENTV and at the Natural History Museum's 'Natural Fashion Week'.
