Why does London inspire you?
London is an inspirational city in so many ways. There is always something new to discover, something new to hear, to smell, to taste. There is such an inspiring network of open minded, interesting and passionate people which encourages me to keep thinking, looking, learning, developing.
Your Craft London work is…
magnetic, interactive and innovative. The collection is boldly three dimensional and architectural in form. Brooches jut from the body rather than lying flat and necklaces are fastened with oversized magnetic components. I like to challenge traditional notions of attachment, preferring the use of hidden magnets to brooch pins or cufflink bars.
Why are you the one to watch?
I graduated less than two years ago, so my work is constantly evolving and improving. There are so many ideas in progress waiting to emerge from my workshop!
