After gaining my degree in Art, I had planned to teach. However, through a fateful chance meeting with a jewellery designer on holiday in India, Coloured Earth Jewellery was born.
Coloured Earth Jewellery combines semi – precious gemstone, wood, shell and silver to create handcrafted, exclusive, individual pieces, designed to be worn by women who like to express their own individuality.
The designs and colours reflect my Asian ancestry and my life long fascination with travelling to countries such as India, Pakistan and Morocco. Every piece of Coloured Earth Jewellery is important to me, gemstones and clasps etc are carefully chosen and every piece has to make a strong statement, as well as flattering the wearer. I try to incorporate the excitement and fashion awareness of costume jewellery with the special luxurious feel you get from wearing real gemstones.
