Claire J Alderdice is a Textile Artist & Surface Pattern Designer, offering a bespoke service, and specialising in CAD and digital print to create interactive interior spaces.

Claire was awarded an MA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art in November 2005, where her theoretical research involved exploring naturally occurring rhythm in growth patterns. She is driven by what intrigues the eye aesthetically, and is inquisitive about whether visual harmony is a question of taste or an inherent reflex; challenging ideas of beauty.

Following Six months as a Design Consultant in Northern Thailand, as part of an Arts Project for The British Council, her work reflects her fascination with Thai pop and ethnic cultures.

Claire’s style is fun and funky, using daring colour palettes to add a touch of flamboyance to any space. She is dedicated to producing sustainable designs that retain a personal touch, including One Wall Wonder Wallpapers, Exuberant Bespoke Rugs, Whimsical Canvas Prints & Interior Accessories for contemporary domestic and commercial interiors, and Public Art.
