Catherine Hammerton graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2005 with a Masters Degree in Mixed Media Textile Design.
A London based Designer-Maker; her work is defined by its handmade aesthetic. From using traditional silk screen printing, hand stitching and collaging of fabrics, papers, colours and textures, she aims to give the consumer a much more desirable and precious product.
Wallpapers and home furnishings are multi-textural yet functional, challenging traditional scale and technical application. Ideal for site-specific commissions, tailored to a particular space and aesthetic, the collection is one of continuous improvement and expansion.
