Bright Ideas
Bright Ideas is an on going initiative supporting the development of stylish new products for a design savvy audience.
For Bright Ideas 2008 Craft Central has selected six exceptional designers who are looking to launch new design products on to the marketplace:
- Selina Rose (new wallpaper)
- Michelle Mason (felt rug)
- Margo Selby (woven tea-cosy)
- Anthony Roussel (jewellery)
- Sasha Boyo (jewellery)
- Rebecca Chitty (acrylic vase)
These designers now have just six months to work up a new idea from their sketchbooks into a finished product. The finished products will be launched at the London Design Festival in September 2008 and available to purchase at Made in Clerkenwell winter 2008 at Craft Central
Bright Ideas is organised by Craft Central to encourage entrepreneurial spirit and the production of new work. Funding for Bright Ideas 2008 comes from Arts Council England and London Development Agency.
