Bernadine initially studied Psychology, however a keen sense of beauty and a desire to make led her to pursue Jewellery making at Sir John Cass. Following graduation, she worked for several jewellers before setting up her own workshop in Hatton Garden and subsequently in Clerkenwell.
Bernadine's work is guided overall by the harmony and innovation found in nature. Continuous themes are geometry and also exploration of pattern, texture and balance as found in printing and sculpture. The resulting work is elegant and well crafted.
