The studies of porcupine quills together with the book ‘Africa Adorned’ by Angela Fisher are the main sources of inspiration in Bea Jareno’s work.

The different qualities of line, shape and size in harmony with the use of precious metals creates rhythm, fluidity and  movement interest within the pieces, giving a simplicity  and minimalist sense throughout  the body of work

Bea likes to work with contrast in metals using  red and yellow gold, polished and oxidised silver, mixing handmade textured links with fine chain, combining a variation of finishes  and adding some colours by using precious and semi-precious stones and pearls.

This combination of freedom and flexibility enables her to create unique pieces to suit individual personalities. Often Bea’s work can be worn in different ways and concessions related to her work are always welcome.
