In 2007 An completed a solo exhibition as part of the creative 8 series at Clerkenwell Green Association (Now Craft Central) For this she developed a new collection based on the use of materials traditionally seen as precious combined with daily materials. Old records, ice cream sticks and bicycle tires are revealed anew in beautiful shapes you will want to wear; they also become puzzles as the truth of their origin will only be seen by the most discerning eyes.
This inventive designer was trained both in Belgium and the UK as a product and jewellery designer. When graduating from the Royal College of Art she received the Armours and Braziers price for innovative work. Her exhibition, as part of the Creative 8 project, was sponsored by Signity -Swarovski’s leading brand in precious stones, Blundells and son, Bellore and Design Flanders. One of her more conceptual pieces – radish necklace – was presented in Crafts magazine july/august 2006.
