Having undertaken the City & Guilds Certificate and Diploma, Amy graduated from London Metropolitan University in June 2007. During her time there she developed an interest in images in jewellery and particularly vintage postcards and photographs.
Amy enjoys using the photographed characters from vintage postcards to make romantic pieces of jewellery; sometimes setting the images behind stones and glass to include them as precious elements, and sometimes using photo-etching to create the suggestion of a contemporary cameo.
While at London Metropolitan University Amy achieved a British Jewellers Association Merit Award, was commended for a Goldmsiths Award and was selected to exhibit at the New Designer Exhibition 2007.
Amy is currently based at Howard Fenn and Alfred Pain's Silver Workshop in the Leather Market, London Bridge.
